Robert C. Josefsberg, Esq.
Dade Legal Aid Foundation, Inc., and the entire South Florida legal community mourn the loss of Robert "Bob" Josefsberg, a veritable giant in the legal field. Mr. Josefsberg passed away on July 14, 2025, at 86 years old, after a long and successful legal career that spanned over 65 years. A bar leader and true giant and legend in and out of the courtroom, he was best known for being a kind, caring, brilliant and generous person who always made time for anyone in need from every walk of life. He genuinely cared for others, always accepted pro bono cases with enthusiasm and excitement, and had recently learned a new area of law in order to represent a struggling family in need of help with an Adoption.
Mr. Josefsberg's leadership, advocacy, and contributions to Dade Legal Aid and the legal profession are extraordinary, and he will be remembered for generations to come. Having mentored hundreds of young attorneys and shaping the lives and careers of countless others, his memory will live on forever. Dade Legal Aid has established a fund to honor and continue his passionate work on behalf of vulnerable children, victims of sex trafficking, and others in dire need of legal representation with nowhere else to turn to for services.
